Mendip Green Primary School is a large school for 4-11 year-olds in the Worle area of Weston-super-Mare, North Somerset. We work to be at the forefront of education, giving our pupils a spectacular education and creating well-rounded people who are willing and capable of making a positive contribution to their community. To achieve this we are looking for inspiring staff to be a champion for all children, with a passion to see every child become the best that they can be. We are an inclusive school and can offer you the opportunity to work with children from different backgrounds and with a range of needs.

What we offer you:

  • a central team with education specialists in school improvement, innovation and development, SEND and education welfare
  • a diverse and inclusive group of academies where every child is valued and celebrated

Why choose ELAN

  • We have a strong set of values built upon collaboration, integrity, respect, innovation, and a commitment to providing an extraordinary education for all pupils.
  • We have high expectations and aspirations for all of our children. Nurturing high aspirations in children is crucial for their growth and development, but it's equally important to ensure those aspirations are grounded in reality. We help our children to learn about themselves and their potential; overcoming setbacks and challenges. We want all of our children to access an extraordinary education because we all care.
  • Team and community are paramount to everything that makes our schools function well. Our shared purpose and strong focus on collaboration and mutual support means that you'll have access to a wide network of colleagues who can offer guidance and support, both professionally and personally.
